How to get to Tavira
Depending from where you are coming from there are several ways of going to visit Tavira.

From Faro to Tavira you have to travel around 35Km to East, usually it’s a quick trip using the A22 freeway.
By land, and if you come driving from another country:
N 431 Huelva - Spain / A22 - Via do Infante - Portugal
If you prefer to be driven, you can rent a Taxi transfer from Faro to Tavira for around 42 Eur. For prices and other locations in the Algarve you might want to check Algarserra Algarve Transfers site, they have pretty good deals.
You can also reach Tavira from train from Faro (from West) or Vila Real de Santo António (from East). The Portuguese Train company is CP and you can find info in their official page (www.cp.pt).
